GOLD RIVER, Calif. — November 1, 2026. Residents interested in reducing car trips can evaluate the nearby Hazel light rail station, part of Sacramento Regional Transit’s Gold Line corridor.

The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) lists Hazel station as a stop on the Gold Line between Historic Folsom and Sacramento Valley Station. Its official station page identifies parking and wheelchair accessibility.

What transportation connections are available?

The SacRT station listing says no buses stop at Hazel station. Riders who need a bus connection should check neighboring stops or other stations rather than assume an on-site transfer is available.

The station webpage publishes scheduled upcoming train information and links to the complete Gold Line timetable. Arrival times can change due to service work or disruptions, so passengers should use SacRT’s live service alerts and most recent schedule before starting a trip.

Planning a trip from Gold River

Gold River’s southern boundary adjoins the Highway 50 corridor. The county’s emergency mapping also depicts light rail along the area’s southern side. An ordinary commute plan and an emergency evacuation plan are different: the Gold Line must not be assumed available during a hazardous incident unless officials specifically direct its use.

Riders can verify parking rules, accessibility assistance, fares and connection times on SacRT’s official website. For questions, SacRT lists customer service at (916) 321-2877.
